Where do I start, I have so many fond memories. The pajama parties, your mom's sloppy joes, partying, school days, trips to Bunker, Mo. Yours, Joe and Jody coming to Pontoon and staying in motel with Janet, Liz and Darlena. Meeting you all in Memphis. We sure did have some good times I will treasure forever. You are gone, but forever will live in my heart. You will be missed. I love you Laura. RIP

My memories of my sweet friend are mostly of her laughter and her smile. Growing up, her house was often the gathering spot. Her sisters usually giving her a rough time the way sisters do!! LOL. Her dad was usually making us laugh about something and her mom in the kitchen fixing something good to eat. It was always obvious her home was full of love. Laura’s friends were always made to feel welcome and I suppose that is how Laura came to be such a loving person. I remember being overjoyed when hearing that Laura had met the love of her life. We got to meet Joe a few years ago and boy did Laura light up when she talked about him. And clear to see he loved her too. Truly, a match made in heaven !! We also got to meet Jody. I remember thinking if Laura had a twin brother, this would be him!!! That dark hair and those dark eyes!! I seen so much of Laura in that boy. Jody had her spirit and her spunk. He was so polite and respectful to his parents and I could tell he was their rock. I remember thinking I would never have to worry about Laura because she had Joe and Jody to take care of her. Rest In Peace friend knowing you were loved and will be missed dearly.

There are so many memories...I'm not sure which to choose! I guess I'd have to go with you teaching me how to drive. I put that old Oldsmobile through the ringer on those Center Point back roads, but you took it all with patience, a smile, and a laugh. I will miss you so very much, and wish I could have spent more time with you in the last several years. Rest in peace my sweet Aunt.
