Memorial services for Wayne Steven Moses will be at 6PM, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA. Gathering with family will be from 5PM until time of service at 6PM, Friday, October 25th at the funeral home.

Wayne, 69, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at his home. Wayne “The Pain” & “Uncle Weenie” Moses was the owner of Mose Back’Yark Nursery & Landscaping. He was an active fisherman and loved tending to his hibscus flowers. Most of all though, he loved helping whoever he could and would give anyone the shirt off his back.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Annie Mose; nephew, Derrick Cornett; great nephew, Tyler Cornett.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Valerie Michelle Jones Moses of Woodworth; children, Steven Wayne Moses of Tennessee, Stephanie Amilia Jones Moses and fiancé Tyler Fontenot of Ville Platte and Jesse Earl Reeves and wife Erin; five siblings, Raymond Mose and wife Cheryl of Lake Charles, Mary Alice Mose of Moss Bluff, Betty Haston of Alexandria, Lorna Salazar of West Monroe and Cathy Lin Voorhies and husband Billy of Woodworth; two grandchildren, Raiden Winfree and Tyler Fontenot Jr.
