Funeral services for Vera Lee Tarver Nugent will be at 2PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Community Pentecostal Church, Manifest, LA with Rev. Ronnie House and Rev. Jonathan Crist officiating. Visitation will be at the Church from 5 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022 until time of services on Friday. Interment will follow at Lowe Cemetery, Kelly, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.

Mrs. Nugent, 65, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. She loved visiting with her grandbabies and fishing. She was an LPN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Louise Tarver and sisters, Hilda Tarver and Lavonne Thornhill.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Nathan Nugent “Coon” and Mandy, William Nugent and wife Sherry and Chrystal Nugent Breland all of Harrisonburg; 5 grandchildren, Cody Nugent and wife Tiffany, Tyler Nugent, Dakota and Cayden Breland and Megan Nugent; 5 great grandchildren and brother, Crockett Tarver.

Pallbearers will be Cody Nugent, Devon Weeks, Shawn Guinn, Raymond Nugent, Lil Ray Townsend and Sidney Book (Hippie). Honorary pallbearers will be Cayden Breland, Tyler Nugent and Trampis Tarver.
