Obituary for Thomas B. Miller

Services for Thomas Beeman Miller will be at 11AM, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA with Rev. Joel Ford and Bro. Claude Chaney officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM until time of service at 11AM, Saturday, November 7th at the church. Interment will be at Whites Cemetery, Jonesville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Thomas was born on Monday, August 16, 1948 in Jonesville, LA and passed from this life Thursday, November 05, 2020 in Harrisonburg, LA. He was generous and loved his job and work family. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He cherished his wife of 53 years with many ups and downs their love stood the test of time. He loved his children and grands and great grands, which showed with each nick name he called them and their hunting and fishing trips. He was excited to dedicate his life to God in his last days and wants others to know it’s never too late to live for God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Ioma Miller; brother, Billy Miller; father and mother in laws, Bob and Myrtle Wiley; brothers and sister in laws, Frank and Ruby Lea Wiley, Don and Ruthine Wiley and Sue Miller; 4 nephews, Bobby Wiley, Donny Wiley, Mike Wilson and David Cooper.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Doris Miller; daughter, Lynnet Holloway of Alexandria, Bubba Miller (Carrie) of Harrisonburg, LA, Bobby Guss Miller (Paige) of Leblanc, LA; grandchildren, Britany Thompson (Cutler), Kelsie Allen (Josh), Dalton Miller, Rylie Perkins, Amelia Holloway, Braiden Miller and Piper Miller; great grandchildren, Logan Thompson, Alivia Allen, Maggie Thompson, Avery Allen, Jentry Allen; brothers, Johnnie Miller (Gail) of Vidalia, LA, Ray Miller (Marilyn) of Jonesville, LA, David Miller of Jena, LA, Terry Miller (Cindy) of Nebo, LA; sisters, Lisa Coleman (George) of Jonesville, LA, Renee Butts (Andy) of Jonesville, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Miller, Bobby Guss Miller, Jeff Wiley, Dalton Miller, Lee White and Kevin Leger. Honorary pallbearers will be W.D. Harrison, Logan Thompson, Brayden Miller, Jentry Miller, Narcisco Guerrero and Chris Duett.
