Graveside services for Thomas Floyd Ellston will be at 10AM, Friday, July 3, 2020 at Belah Cemetery, Trout, LA with Rev. Kent Hatfield officiating under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Thomas Floyd Ellston, 59, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 in Amarillo, TX in a motorcycle crash. He was of the Pentecostal faith. His passion was riding motorcycles, driving big trucks and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Roy Ellston; and step-father, Vivan Chapman.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Joy LaCroix Chapman; sister, Yolanda Neal; brother, Jerry Chapman (Tammy); and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Joe Price, Landon Hatfield, Tommy DeLaSalle, John Morgan, Stacey Stokes and Don Paul.

We did not always see eye to eye but in later years you became a friend. My favorite memory is the Christmas Eve we all spent at your mom's. RIP Tom. We would like to go to gravesite but the heat/humidity a 6 yr. old and a 3 yr. old prohibits that. Are prayers are with the family.

I'll never forget the day that I claimed you as my'll always at a be my dad no matter what happens....when I was little I remember you used to try and get me to ride your motorcycle and I would say "no, not happening" and I'd run away laughing....I remember all the time you would take me to get icecream and when we would play hide-and-seek through out the house in pineville....Tommy I miss you more than words can describe but your in a better place now...I love you dad keep watching over and I'll keeping looking up everyday❤😭😭

Crazy- I WILL NEVER FORGET ..NEVER... when you got us all kicked out of Grogan's... All because you were defending me. I appreciated it more than you'll ever know. I just saw you last week... You were a good man!!
