I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Rita's passing!! My heart hurts for her family and friends. She was such a talented lady! She loved others and enjoyed music, especially playing and teaching piano! She encouraged others to learn music and always shared her love for our Lord! I will be praying for her family!! May God's love comfort you and give you peace! We will meet her again in our heavenly home!! Love, Debby Rushton Franks

Deepest sympathy to the family. I have memories of going to school with Rita as well as renewing our friendship at Trinity Baptist Church. I helped her with the children's choir. We became even closer through the years as she taught my grandchildren piano. I know I will see her again in the kingdom of God. Rachel Mercier

So sorry for your loss.
Rita was a joy to know. She was a faithful friend to my mother. She taught my nieces piano. One is now doing what she did teaching children how to play and live music 🎶

Very upset to see this notice about Rita. She worked at the Red River Music Store during many years of going there as myself as a
music teacher in the parish. She taught piano there, played for her church, and I mourn for her!! So sorry!!!
