Obituary for Rickey Joe Cole
Services for Rickey Joe Cole will be at 10AM, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Longview Baptist Church, Deville, LA with Rev. Robby Poole officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Friday, December 18th and from 8AM until time service at 10AM, Saturday, December 19th at the church. Interment will be at Bradford Cemetery, Deville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Rickey Joe Cole, 64, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center. He was an avid deer hunter. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He was a life-long member of Longview Baptist Church. He worked and retired from Holsum Bakery in Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his son, Garrett Cole; maternal grandparents, Joseph Sylvester Mabou and Mary Elmer Mabou; paternal grandparents, Samuel Cole and Angeline Cole.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years, Karen Clark Cole; daughter, Monica Jo Daigrepont and husband Josh; grandson, Zachary Daigrepont and granddaughter, Mikahla Daigrepont; father, Willis Cole; mother, Joyce Mabou Cole; sister, Gayle Cole George and husband John; brother, Randy Cole and wife Rene; and many, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be David Cole, Justin Midkiff, Justin Clark, Ross Wilson, Nick Dodge, Jacob Dodge, Roger Paul and Steve Franks. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Wilson, Randy Cole, Skip Clanton, LJ Dodge, Josh Daigrepont, Brandon Midkiff and John George.
