Obituary for Paul L Smith
Memorial services for Paul L. Smith will be at 11AM, Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Pineville Christian Church, Pineville, LA, with Pastors Johnny Ryder and Jason Huffman officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM until 1PM.
Paul L. Smith, 62, passed away January 28, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from November 1984 until January 1991. He received the Sea Service Ribbon, Navy Expeditionary Medal, First Good Conduct Award, Pistol Expert and Rifle Sharpshooter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Joyce Smith; brother, Art Smith; father in law and mother in law, Walter Roberts and Dora Ann Roberts Freeman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Georgia Smith of Pineville; step son, Reggie Fausphoul and wife Angie of Korbel, CA; step son, Walter Fausphoul and wife Melissa of Pineville; step daughter, Bridget Fausphoul of Deville; sister, Laura Hutchenson of TN, sister Ann of New York; brothers, Kenny Smith and Scott Smith of MS and brother Ronnie Smith of Houston, TX; step grandkids, Jack Ochletree, Teanna Hasel, JR Faushphoul, Alaysa Fausphoul and Bree Fausphoul; sister in law, Mildred Ryder and brother in law Johnny Ryder of KY.
