It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Ducote announces that Paul went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2022. Paul, age 72, was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on February 1, 1950. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Ducote; brother, Johnny Brown and sister Loletta Poe. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Donna Chauffepied Ducote. Three sons, Billy Ducote, and wife Jaclyn, Jonathon Ducote and wife Teri, Jason Paul Ducote, and fiancé Dianna; One stepson, Rodney Nugent. Two daughters, Brandy Ducote Babin, and husband, James and Amy Ducote. His grandchildren, Austin Blotner, Ashlyn Blotner, Asher Blotner, Scarlett Ducote, Brooke Ducote, Colin Ducote, Sonora Ducote, and Bailyn Ducote. Great granddaughter, Sage Thompson and his sister Debbie Renda. Paul was the owner/founder of Alexandria Alarms in Alexandria from 1985 to 2002. After working with the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s department, he then retired and began a new chapter in his life. He was a very generous and caring man, known for lending a helping hand. His sense of humor set him apart always bringing a smile. Devoted to his wife, family and friends he was loved by all who knew him.
