Services for Nelwyn Delores Finch Longworth will be at 11AM, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA with Rev. Kenneth Hyde officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30AM until time of service at 10AM, Tuesday, December 14th at the funeral home. Interment will be at Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Natchitoches, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria. Nelwyn Delores Finch Longworth 81, Of Dry Prong, Louisiana passed away December 10, 2021. Nelwyn was a truly loving and beloved wife, the matriarch to our family, the glue that held us together, and her passion for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren will be felt for generations. She was a hard-working woman who enjoyed cooking, sewing, and to read. Her hugs could warm your soul, her laugh was contagious, her quick wit and humor enabled her to laugh at life, her fiery temper and that “momma” glare both protected us and kept us in line. However, her wisdom will live on in each of us. She will be missed deeply but her generous heart will never be forgotten. We your family who experienced all her love will forever be grateful. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Aaron and Pearl Finch. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Thomas Edward Longworth; children, Fonda Juneau and her 2 children, Margret “Sandy” Poplaski and husband Douglas and their 2 children, Robert “Ed” Longworth and wife Shari and their 2 children, Thomas Longworth and wife Paula and their 4 children, Anita Ferretti and husband Albert Goynes and their 7 children and Casey “Jerry” Longworth and wife April and their 2 children.
