Obituary for Nelson "Tito" Muniz-Ruiz
Services for Nelson Muniz-Ruiz will be at 11AM, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Selma Baptist Church, Georgetown, LA with Pastor Joe Bruce and Bro. Kenneth Hyde officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM, Monday, January 2nd until time of service at 11AM, Tuesday, January 3rd at the church. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bentley, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Nelson Muniz-Ruiz, 76, of Pineville, LA passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his home. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served his country for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Muniz; mother, Miguelina Ruiz; 3 children, Dana Langley, Randy Langley and Robin Faircloth; 2 grandsons, David Ray Langley and Nelson Earl Langley.
Those left to cherish his memory include is wife, Patsy Muniz; daughter, Cheryl Langley; son, Timothy Langley and wife Teriesa; son, Stephen Langley and wife Sissy; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; 9 brothers and 4 sisters.
Pallbearers will be the US ARMY honor guard. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Hargrave, Blake DuBois, Thomas Wiggins, Keagen Hargrave, Cody Langley, Johnny Dale Edwards, Byrun Calk, Toby Wiggins and Tristain Calk.
