Michael Odell Branch Sr. was born February 15, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria Louisiana on June 9, 2022. Michael was a 27 year resident of Laplace, Louisiana. Michael loved to fish, watch football and spend time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memories are his companion of 27 years, Juanita Held; John Held; his sons, Justin and Michael Branch Jr.; sister, Laura Hopkins; niece’s, Kim Coyne (Bubba) and Stephanie Hoyt; nephew, Curtis Little; and the staff of Hampton Inn Marksville, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rita and Hubert Branch Jr.; Eva Prestenbach and Thomas Prestenbach; grandparents, Bertha and Hubert Branch Sr.; siblings, Ricky and Randy Branch, also Cheryl Thorton (Johnnie) and Johnnie Thorton Jr.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial mass on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Visitation is from 9:30 AM till the mass at 11 o’clock at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St., LaPlace, Louisiana.
