Obituary for Melinda Gayle Carmichael
Services for Melinda Carmichael will be at 10AM, Monday, January 2, 2023 at Bear Creek Congregational Methodist Church, Quitman, LA with Bro. Joey Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Sunday, January 1st and from 9AM until time of service at 10AM, Monday, January 2nd at the church. Interment will be at Hurricane Grove Cemetery, Sikes, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Melinda Carmichael, 52, of Jonesboro, LA passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her home. She was a great wife, mother and mammaw. She worked at Jackson Parish Hospital for 16 years and had amazing family there. She was very proud to be a nurse, but had a passion for hunting and fishing, especially with her father.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Williams; and her fur-baby, Smokey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Marvin; mother, Margie Williams; children, John (Paige), Christopher, Michael (Savannah), Tiffany (Tyler), Jeremy, Dustin (Heather), Heather (Chris) and Chase (Rheana); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Brenda and John (Gulnara).
Pallbearers will be John, Michael, Chris, Dustin, Chase, Justin, Heath and Jeremy. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaden and J.J.
