Services for Gabrielle LaManda Ewing “Mandy” will be at 1PM, Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA with Rev. Joel Ford, Rev. Jimmy Masters and Rev. Louis Green officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM until time of service at 1PM, Thursday, August 13th at the church. Interment will be at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Mandy was loved by so many! She loved singing more than anything and sounded like an angel but she also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her babies. If you ask anyone she worked with they will tell you she was one of the best nurses you could imagine. She always made sure she was dressed to the 9’s. She truly did love Jesus with all her heart and had a heart of gold.

She was preceded in death by her fiancé and Carson’s dad, Jarrett Davis Barton; grandparents, Frances Boothe Ewing, Bobby Ray Ewing, Willie Clayton Alger; and uncles, Gary Lynn Ewing and W.C Alger Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Emma Lane Smith, 18, Carson Davis Barton, 12 and McKenneth Jade Ewing, 5; parents, Delane Alger Ewing and Derwin Ewing; grandparents, Jessie Babcock Alger; siblings, Dana Ewing Mays (Jody Mays) and Deron Ewing (Julie Francis Ewing); niece, Haylea Delane Ewing.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Cooper, Micheal Ewing, Brenson Ewing, Scott Smith, Burt Ray, Pat McCaughey and Danny Touchstone.
