Mable W. Book, 94, of Jonesville, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 5th at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. She was born June 24, 1925 in Larto, LA to the union of her parents, Alfred H. Wiley and Stella Charrier Wiley. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her.
Graveside services for Mable W. Book will be at 2PM, Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Palo Alto Cemetery, Mayna, LA with Rev. Shannon Pennington and Rev. Kenn Gordon officiating under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 60 years, Charles B. Book Sr. (Bo); daughter, Charlene B. Wiley; son, Delta M. Book Sr.; daughter-n-law, Marcia Book Butler; grandson, Delta M. Book Jr. (Lil Dale); infant granddaughter, Cynthia Ann Wiley; brothers, Dan Wiley, Homer Wiley, Joe Wiley, Boyd Wiley, Bob Wiley and Archie Wiley; sisters, Cora Mae Wade and Millie Wiley.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles B. Book III (Chuck) and Timothy W. Book (Bobbie) of Jonesville, LA; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren (with 2 on the way); sister, Ruthene Morace; brother, James Wiley; special cousin/sister, Altha Faye Dority; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Morgan Book, Bobby Ray Book, Nelson Book, Darren Wiley, David Wayne Wiley and Christopher Wiley. Honorary pallbearers will be Malcolm Bass, Kay E. Book, Donnie Book, Jimmie Crawford, Joey Crawford, Bryan Wiley and Terry Gann.
