Obituary for Kevin Evans
Services for Kevin Brian Evans will be at 12PM, Friday, October 14, 2022 at Nantachie United Pentecostal Church, Montgomery, LA with Bro. Nathanial Young and Bro. Donald Givens officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service at 12PM, Friday, October 14th at the church. Interment will be at Mars Hill Cemetery, Atlanta, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Kevin Brian Evans, 65, of Verda, LA passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at his home. Kevin loved church, people, pretty girls, wheel of fortune, his golf cart, Hershey bars, chocolate ice cream and wrestling. He always had a smile for anyone he met. He cherished his “Clemmy-Barney” (sister Fonda) and his “Daddy-O” (brother-n-law Randy) and his “nursie” (niece Stacey).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Evans, Father, Wade Evans; and brother, Kenneth Roger Evans.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister/caregiver, Fonda Miller; brother-n-law/caregiver, Randy Miller; niece, Stacey Godbey and husband Estel; brothers, Graylin Evans and wife Angela and Shannon Evans and wife Donna; sisters, Demetress King and spouse Jason, Freda Evans and Tina Evans and Leroy Reece; and multiple nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Daniel McCracken, Estel Godbey, Jaron Bullock, Galen Maltempi, Jason King and Eric Evans. Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Miller.
The family wishes to thank St Joseph Hospice for their care with special regards to Mrs. Christine Allen and Sean Craig for going above and beyond for us. Also thank you to Autumn Leaves Nursing and Rehab for their exemplary care during Kevin's short stay. God Bless you.
