Obituary for Judie Gail Ray (Droddy)
Services for Judie Gail Ray will be at 11AM, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Calcasieu Baptist Church, Glenmora, LA with Rev. John Smith and Bro. Barry Dousay officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Friday, February 17th and from 9AM until time of service at 11AM, Saturday, February 18th at the church. Interment will be at New Hope Church Cemetery, Glenmora, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Judie Gail Ray, 81 formerly of Glenmora, LA, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Judie was a strong-willed woman. She was always complimented by complete strangers on how beautiful and well-dressed she was. She and James enjoyed going to garage sales and spending time with their family and friends. She will surely be missed by everyone.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, James P. Ray; her parents, Lester and Josie Droddy; and her granddaughter, Brandi Hillard.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jonathan (Johnny) Doyle and his wife Karen, Leslie Doyle and Lynn Doyle;her four grandchildren, Caleb Doyle, Jacey Doyle, Dawson Doyle and Presley Doyle; her sisters, Kristie Crawford and Jewel Bieser; her special friends, Donna Coker and Phyllis Brian.
Pallbearers will be Dawson Doyle, Codiak Thompson, Clift Crawford, Kipper Glaze, Mike Nichols and Phil Jackson.
