A Memorial Mass Service will be Saturday, May 29th at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pineville, La. Interment will follow in Baton Rouge, LA at a later date. John T. Moseley, 83, of Pineville Louisiana, and formerly of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away at his residence on May 21, 2021. He was born in Dyess, Arkansas to Joseph Floyd Moseley and Daisey Bell. After serving in the US Air Force, John graduated from Louisiana State University and completed post graduate work at Texas A&M University. He worked for the National Weather Service for 34 years and retired as Chief Meteorologist of the Baton Rouge Weather Service. He is predeceased by his wife, Anne Van Mol Moseley, and his son, Mark Moseley. John will be greatly missed by his daughter, Connie Moseley (Kevin Schilling); his wife, Mary Virginia Van Mol Moseley; grandchildren Claire Aillet, Ryan Aillet (Caroline), and Turner Moseley (Kamber); and great-grandchildren, Evangeline Aillet and Ayda Moseley. May he rest in peace.
