Obituary for Joe Everett

Services for Joe Everett, Jr. will be at 1PM, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Alexandria, LA, with Bro. Huey Joffrion officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA from 10 AM until 12 PM. Interment will follow on a later date at Central Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery, Leesville, LA.
Joe Everett, Jr., 90, of Pineville, LA, passed away July 7, 2022, at his residence.
Joe, who was fondly known as “Little Bud”, never met a stranger. His humor and jokes brought a smile to many faces and will truly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Hardy Everett; brothers, Walter Everett, Sr., Henry Van Buren and Ananis Everett; sister, Ida Alston.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Lottie Everett of Pineville; sons, Anthony Everett, Sr. of Sandford, FL and Lorenzo Everett of NY; daughters, Denise Jackson of Atascocita, TX, Regenia Everett of Jacksonville, FL and Pearlie Anette Everett of Atlanta, GA; 3 grandchildren, Kenderrick Jackson, Anthony Everett, Jr. and LaToya Everett Burke; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Charity Leonard of Deltona, FL and a host of nephews, nieces and close friends.
Pallbearers will be Richard Cobbs, Nathaniel Epps, Gerald Belvin, Andrew Jackson, Sr., Joseph Hamilton and Sam Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Everett, Sr., Kenderrick Jackson, Walter Everett, Jr., Lorenzo Everett and Gerald Taylor.
