Services for Jeanette Marie Givens will be at 11AM Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church, Montgomery, LA with Rev. Sam Russell and Bro. Lavohn Bass officiating. Visitation will be at the Church on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 5PM until time of services on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Montgomery, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
Jeanette Marie Givens, 76, of Montgomery, LA passed away June 5, 2022 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Evelyn Chelette; son, Robert Ray “Bobby” Givens and granddaughter, Ashley Brooke Givens.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Rev. Donald Givens of Montgomery, LA; son, James D. Givens and wife Shermela of Montgomery, LA; daughter in law, Denise Stroud of Rock Hill, LA; brother, Leroy Chelette of Montgomery, LA; sister, Linda Cox of Montgomery, LA; 9 grandchildren, Monica Brumley, Tristen Givens, Jasmine Givens, Matthew Givens, Kayla Givens, Amanda Moore, Josh and Hannah Jones and Joel Givens.
Pallbearers will be Kade Tomlin, Tristen Givens, Brad Tilton, Scott Tilton, Jacob Higginbotham and Derrick Cox. Honorary pallbearer will be John Paul Brumley.
