Graveside services for Jean Westbrooks will be at 11AM, Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Westbrooks-Swilley Cemetery, Aimwell, LA with Ricky Gresham officiating under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria. Jean was born Monday, March 31, 1947 to the union of Elisabeth Matill Ford and Charlie Shipton Foshee in Olla Louisiana. She passed from this life Saturday, August 29, 2020. She was a homemaker and business partner to her husband, Raymond E. Westbrooks Sr. They were married just shy of 56 years. They raised two children and successfully ran a logging business for 41 years. She loved to read books and the newspaper. She liked to be informed about her family and her community. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Ray Foshee and his wife Barbara Foshee; and one sister, Brenda Joice Foshee. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Raymond E. Westbrooks Sr. of Olla, LA; a daughter, Teresa J. Ainsworth and son-in-law Jeff Ainsworth; a son, (P.J.) Raymond E. Westbrooks Jr. and daughter-in-law, Rita Lewis; three grandchildren, Connor D. Ainsworth and Amy Ainsworth, Brandt E. Westbrooks and Lillian G. Westbrooks; and one great granddaughter, Letti O. Ainsworth. Pallbearers will be Brandt Westbrooks, Leroy Westbrooks, Eddie Westbrooks, Mike Buchanan, Connor Ainsworth and Jeff Ainsworth.
