Jean Alice Bouwell passed this earth into her eternal resting place on September 25, 2020. Those that loved her knew her love of making memories through a camera lens. She loved trying to capture that moment, that unnoticed smile or look. Jean was full of life and forever will be our only sunshine. Her smile was infectious and her laugh was contagious. Jean was so much beauty that often times went unnoticed but she never complained. She found joy in just being with you. Her life was God, family, and her friends. Jean loved unconditionally. She never judged. She prayed and trusted God in everything. Jean was love.

She was preceded in death by father, Leo Hebert; sister, Janet Hebert; and grandson, Donald Lee Bouwell the 3rd.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald Lee Bouwell Sr.; daughter, Megan Madaiha McLain and son, Charles Murr Crowell and their spouses along with her stepchildren, Donald Bouwell 2nd and Kimbra Bouwell; sisters, Jennifer Hebert and Jackie Bordelon and brothers, John Hebert and Cobin Hebert who all reside in Alexandria, LA; Jean will be greatly missed by her loving mother, Alice Hebert whom she cherished; Jean loved laughing and playing with her 17 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
