Obituary for J.B. Morris Jr.
Services for J.B. Morris, Jr. will be at 2 PM Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Good Road Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA, with Bro. Chad Franklin officiating. Visitation will be at the Church from 5PM until 9 PM Wednesday, August 17th and from 10 AM until time of services at 2PM, Thursday, August 18th at the Church. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery, Jonesville, LA, under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
J.B. Morris, 68, of Jonesville, LA, passed away August 10, 2022 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.
Mr. Morris was self employed and loved all of his family more than his life himself. He was so proud of his wife, children and all his grandchildren and loved them with all his heart and soul. He will be missed more than any words can describe.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Morris, Sr.; mother, Eva Godfrey Morris; grandson, Jacob Blane Bozeman; twin granddaughters, Ava and Claire Steele; son in law, Nathan Steele; brother in law, Tommy Darryl Chaudoin; brothers and sisters, Robert Lee Morris, Ella Mae Morris Hamilton, Marie Morris Ford, Mary Lou Morris Ford, Joyce Morris Rollins, Robbie Morris Hemphill; mother in law, Sussie Rebecca Jester Chaudoin and father in law, Tommy Cecil (Cebo) Chaudoin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anna Joette Chaudoin Morris; daughter, Evie Ann Morris and husband Mark Wiley; son, Joshlyn Benjamin Morris; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Morris Steele and husband Kenneth Wilson; grandchildren, Makala Rain Bigner, Ranal Devone Bozeman, Delilah Dianna Bozeman, Molly Rebecca Berry and James Ray Townsend, III; great grandchildren, Hadley Berry, Jesse Berry, Tucker Roszell and one on the way grandson in law, Thomas Bigner, Josh Berry and Tyler Roszell.
Pallbearers will be grandson Ranal Bozeman, son in laws Mark Wiley and Kenneth Wilson; nephews, Earnest Hamilton, Robert Earl Morris and Bobby Glenn Morris.
