Gracie Lynn Edwards, 21, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023. Gracie had a love for all music but her favorite was 2PAC. You could always find her sitting outside with the radio up laughing and singing. She also had a love for the elderly and children with special needs. She loved to listen to people’s problems and help them to find the answers they were looking for. Gracie was the same every time you seen her, she kept it real and never tried to be anything but herself (and if people didn’t like that then they really missed out) she didn’t care what anyone else thought. She also had a love for cats of all kinds. She touched so many lives especially while working as the delivery driver and cook at Mama’s Iron Skillet. She loved everyone she worked with and they were her family too. To know Gracie was to love Gracie.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Tibby and Janet Edwards of Georgetown, La and Clyde and Mattie Edwards of Williana, La; great grandmother, Jimmie Lee Madere of Georgetown, La; and great grandparents, William and Jenna Gates of Winnfield, La and Arvel and Melva Boyett of Winnfield, La.

She is survived by her dad, Jamie Edwards; mom, Brittany Edwards; sisters, Madalyn Edwards, Alana Edwards and Cheyenna Reppond; brother, Justin Boyett; maternal grandparents, Alan and Becky Boyett; uncle, Tibby “Bubba” Edwards; Aunt, Starr Edwards, aunt and uncle, David and Hayden Boyett; cousins, Chloe and Lydia Boyett and Sierra Edwards; fur baby, Menew; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Andy Mercer, Lynn McDavid, Brandon Florence, Bubba Edwards, Justin Boyett, and Timmy Langley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Hailey, David Arnold and Casey Kelly.
