Services for Glenda Ferrington will be at 12PM, Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Cornerstone Apostolic Church, Olla, LA with Rev. Jack Knapp and Rev. Dan McClure officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service at 12PM, Sunday, August 23rd at the church. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery, Summerville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Glenda Ferrington, 75, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Hardtner Medical Center. She was a joy to know and was always open for a road trip. She loved watermelon and her Little Debbie cakes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Ferrington and Alene Volentine Ferrington; and one grandson, Scottie Book.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Rhonda Book (Coy) of Jonesville, LA, Terrie Creed (Mark) of Olla, LA, Jason Lee of Olla, LA and Susie Cox (Stuart) of Tullos, LA; one sister, Velda Stockdale (Rober) of Westland, MI; brothers, James Ferrington (Nadia) of Jena, LA and Wayne Ferrington (Beatrice) of Columbia, LA; grandchildren, David, Lindsey, Kristin, Kendall, Wesley, Michalia, Sydney, Madison, Jayden, Kayle, Preston and Nathan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Winborne, Jacky Elliott, Mark Creed, Josh Poole, Brandall McClure and Philip Andrews.
