Obituary for George David Marcotte Jr.
Services for George David Marcotte Jr. will be at 2PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Abundant Life Church, Marksville, LA with Minister Christine Armond officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service at 2PM, Tuesday, March 1st at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
George David Marcotte Jr., 70, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George M. and Corine Lemoine Marcotte; and brother, Louis "Booga" Prosper.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Shirley (PooNa) Gauthier Marcotte; stepdaughter, Rhonda Roberson (Victor); numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; special friend, Glory Jean Wilks; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Victor Robertson, Leon Gauthier, Adrian Gauthier, Clifford Dauzat, Ricky Dauzat and Christopher Reynolds.
