Obituary for E.W. Nugent
Services for Earl W. Nugent will be at 10AM, Friday, February 21, 2020 at Standard Baptist Church, Olla, LA with Bro. Ed Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Thursday, February 20th and from 8AM until time of service at 10AM, Friday, February 21st at the church. Interment will be at Taylor Chapel Cemetery, Summerville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Earl W. Nugent, 81, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Hilltop Rehabilitation Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl B. Nugent and Maureen Hutson Nugent.
Those left to cherish his memory include wife, Judy Evans Nugent; sons, Rickey Nugent and wife Tammy and Randy Nugent and wife Samantha; grandchildren, Ashtin and Allison Nugent of Olla, Jesse Nugent of Olla and Charlie Nugent and wife Mallory; great grandson, Bryson Nugent of Olla; sisters, LaRue Gilliam and husband Alton of Olla and Earlene Chapman of Oklahoma City, OK; 4 step children, Sheila Hudspeth and husband Jr, Jackie Wilson and husband Roger, Chet Whatley and Ben Whatley; 8 step grandchildren; and 10 step great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Nugent, Charlie Nugent, Wayne Gilliam, Ray Braddock, Tony Westbrooks and Mike Robbins. Honorary pallbearer is Ricky Shirley.
