Obituary for Eurman Bradley "Brad" Hebert

Eurman Bradley Hebert passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 84 years old. He had an intense commitment to family & country and was actively involved with his granddaughters and great grandsons. His friends and family knew him as Brad. He was a distinguished Master Sergeant & Veteran of 2 tours in Viet Nam and retired from the U.S. Army in 1976, after 22 years of service. After retiring from the Army, he went to trade school to become a Commercial HVAC Technician and worked in the Maintenance Dept, at Alexandria’s Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital for 24 years, until retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family and dancing to country music where he was a regular at Fred’s Dance Hall in Mamou, Louisiana for a number of years. He was in relatively good health for 84 and could walk unassisted and drive around Alexandria. He was recently discovered at his home unconscious and transferred to Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital ICU, where despite receiving excellent Medical Care. He never regained consciousness and passed away after about a week later in the hospital. Brad is preceded by his parents Jophe’ Lazime Hebert & Aline Cormier-Hebert. He is survived by his 2 sons, Randall Hebert & Robert Hebert; a daughter, Pamela Hebert; 4 grand- children, Benjamin Hebert, Austin Hebert, Sabrina Hebert, Cameron Hebert and 2 great grandchildren, Sawyer Deville, Cooper Deville. He is also survived by his 5 sisters, Laura Hebert-Lyons, Ann Lee-Hebert-Martin, Janevea Hebert-Cron, Patricia Hebert-McComb, and Penny Hebert-Boucher. He has numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be from 11AM until 12:30PM, Monday, February 6, 2023 at Magnolia Funeral Home, 1604 Magnolia Street, Alexandria, LA. Interment services with be at the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Pineville, LA with Military Honors at approximately 1PM.
