Obituary for Ernest Taylor
Services for Ernest Wesley Taylor Sr. will be at 2PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Good Road Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA with Rev. Chad Franklin, Rev. Bryan Taylor and Rev. David Hutchinson officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM, Friday, February 18th until time of service at 2PM, Saturday, February 19th at the church. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Rhinehart, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Ernest Wesley Taylor Sr., 89, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. Gardening was his passion and he loved visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Laverne Joy Taylor; parents, Roy Robert Taylor and Mattie Smith Taylor; granddaughter, Randi Samara Taylor; brothers, Shelby and Robert Taylor; sisters, Estelle Taylor and Mary Taylor Cooper.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Loretta Bridges Taylor; son, Wesley Taylor and wife Jo Ann Ashley Taylor; 3 grandchildren, Brandi Taylor, Candi Randall and husband Scott Randall and Andy Blake Taylor; 5 great grandchildren, Natalie Taylor, Zachary Morace, Kennedy Randall, Kaylee Randall and Kenzee Randall; brother, Rev. Bryan Taylor and wife Myrna Loy Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Scott Randall, Joey Lance, Richard Taylor, Glen Cooper, Heath Emfinger and Peter Wrocklage. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Taylor and Jason Montpelier.
