Ernie, 64, of Jena, LA passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at his residence. He was a Jack of All Trades.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Octavia Wilson and Charlie Jack Coates.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn Coates; 5 boys, Paul Kimball and Tamika, Joe Kimball and Megan, James Kimball, Zack Kimball and Benny Wayne Coates; 2 daughters, Augustus Coates and Keshia Smith; 2 brothers, Benny Frank Coates and Charlie Coates; sister, Dorothy (Dot) Black and husband Rocky. He had lots of nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grandkids that he loved so much. You are gonna be missed We Love You.
