Obituary for Erma Jean Beech (DeMartinis)

Memorial services for Erma Jean DeMartinis Beech will be from 11AM until 1PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Bro. Clyde Grammon officiating at the cemetery.

Erma Jean DeMartinis Beech, 80, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022. She was a loving Mother first and always. We traveled the world, and she took care of us through thick and thin. However there is no doubt nursing was her love, her passion and her life. Mom’s nursing home administration, staff and patients were ever bit a part of her life as we were. At one point, serving as DON, her world revolved around every staff member, every patient, every shift and every hour. She was a meticulous and very detailed person that missed nothing. That’s why it’s easy to understand that she loved you all dearly, dearly, dearly! Please remember her for her love, compassion and unique sense of humor. For the love to God, her laughter and 24 karat Italian smile was contagious. All of us including her pets, Cindy and Buddy, all of her family and extended family will miss her tremendously.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Danny & Renee DeMartinis; husband, Buford Beech; son, William James Pogue Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Daniel Pogue, Jeffrey Pogue (Michelle) and Tracy Beech; grandchildren, Jacob, Savannah, Lauren, Joel, Megan, Avery; siblings, Linda Bechinski of Laporte, IN, Dan Jr. and Linda DeMartinis of Naples, FL., and sister Jean DeMartinis and her spouse Catherine Ashe of Westfield, MA; cousins, Mike DeMartinis, George Kauffman, Diana DeBrakeleer, DJ DeMartinis, Scotty DeMartinis, Patty Bechinski and Ann Marie Bechinski, Bernadette Cheponis and the rest of the wide spread of the DeMartinis family. We must include every nurse, staff member and patient she had the honor of taking care of, because it was her world.
