Obituary for Earl D. Brown
Services for Earl D. Brown will be at 10AM, Monday, March 6, 2023 at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA with Rev. Joel Ford and Rev. David Poole officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Sunday, March 5th and from 9AM until time of service at 10AM, Monday, March 6th at the church. Interment will be at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Earl D. Brown, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at his home. He worked 59 years for McGoldrick Oil service. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by parents, Monroe and Millie Brown; brother, Lonnie Brown; sister, Joyce Goins; granddaughter, Lailah Hathcock; and grandson, Brody Hathcock.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of almost 64 years, Rosalea Brown; sons, Lemar Brown and wife Talona of Jonesville, LA and Jeff Brown; grandchildren, Derek Brown and wife Dana, Bron Brown and wife Jill, Zachery Brown, Drew Brown and wife Gillian, Jeremy Hathcock and wife Holly and Rachel Hathcock; great grandchildren, Ashton, Macy, Hayden, Noah, Nate, Jathan, Trippe, Preslee, Lincoln, Grayson and Roselyn; siblings, Flonnie Ewing, Dollie White and husband Robert and Parvin Brown.
Pallbearers will be Derek Brown, Bron Brown, Jeremy Hathcock, Zach Brown, Drew Brown, Wade Brown, Tim Tolbert and WD Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Hayden Brown, Nate Brown, Jathan Brown, Noah Hathcock and Trippe Pritchard.
