Obituary for Dona Mae Doyle
Dona Mae Pickering Doyle, Age 70 of Oakdale, La passed away Monday, January 24,2022 with her daughters by her side in LaSalle General Hospital in Jena, La.
She was preceded her in death by her parents, Eugene and Landona Pickering; siblings, Dorothy Snell, Maxine Moore, Carlton Pickering, J.C. Pickering, Shelby Pickering, Joyce Pickering, and Linda Johnson.
Those left to Cherish her memories are her husband of 20yrs, Vernon Doyle of Oakdale, La; her two daughters, Angela Walker (Ira) of Lake Charles, La and Jennifer Doyle (Dontell Myles) of Jena, La; her five amazing grandchildren, Tyler, Emily and Lucas Walker all of Lake Charles, La. and Isaiah and Caden Maricle both of Jena, La; one special niece she looked at more as a sister than a niece was Marlene Callahan (George) of Oakdale, La; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Our mom was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family. Those who knew her whether it be from childhood, high-school, work or retirement loved her and her love for others.
