Obituary

Services for Destiny Paige Ates will be at 2PM, Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Fairfield House of Praise, Dry Prong, LA with Rev. Kenneth Hyde officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM until time of service at 2PM, Saturday, June 27th at the church. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery, Fishville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Destiny was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She loved to fish, hunt and thrift shopping. She was a devoted friend with an infectious smile.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Patsy Ball.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Adaleigh “June bug” Ates; husband Donald Ates; step-daughter, Kailyn Ates; parents, Nelson and Malissa Ball; brothers, Gary Ball and wife Torriey and Dalton “Bubba” Shirley; niece, Raven Ball; nephew, Nolan Ball; grandmother, Rhonda Lovell; and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Nelson Ball, Gary Ball, Austin Ammons, Kaleb Stroud, Anthony Gambrell and Levi Mercer.
