Delfina “Ita” Landman, 92, died October 31, 2019 at her home in Effie, Louisiana surrounded by family.
She was a native of Colombia, South America. She was born on September 16, 1927 in Medellin,
Colombia. She is survived by her children, Teresa (Juan) Perez, Mariela (Ronnie) Hollis, Herman (Sara)
Posada, Jorge (Martha) Posada, 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren,
and numerous nieces and nephews.
One of her greatest pleasures was that she was able to spend so much time with her grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.
A memorial mass with Fr. Cleo Milano presiding will be held Tuesday November 19 at 10:00 am, at Our
Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.
