Memorial Services for Deidra June "Dee" Tyler will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2021 at Columbia Heights Baptist Church in Columbia, LA with Brother Warren Maxwell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 until time of service on January 13th.

Dee Tyler, age 48, passed away on January 6, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She had her brother and sister by her side until the end of her life.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Tim Tyler and wife Wendy; her sister, Hope Kenney and husband Spencer; her nephews, Shelby Matthew Tyler and Brandon Cole Tyler; and her nieces, Tyler Catherine Kenney and Taylor McCartney Kenney. She also had many cousins, and other relatives that she cherished and loved.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Fran Tyler and Father, Marvin Tyler; and sisters Kim Tyler and Paula Tyler.

Dee was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she was raised and Baptist.
Dee attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education. Her passion was working on Pipeline and being in the Pipeline Union 798. She enjoyed making wreaths and crafts when she was unable to work on Pipeline any longer. Her nephews and nieces were the joy of her life. She loved them just as if they were her own children.
