Obituary for Dale Floyd
Services for Glen Dale Floyd will be at 2PM, Monday, March 15, 2021 at Beulah Baptist Church, Winnfield, LA with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Sunday, March 14th and from 1PM until time of service at 2PM, Monday, March 15th at the church. Interment will be at Starks Cemetery, Georgetown, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Glen Dale Floyd, 59, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his home. He loved the Lord, loved to hunt and fish and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Ray Floyd; and grandparents, Home Floyd and Mary Floyd.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Melanie Floyd; mother, Carolyn Floyd, children, Shannon Floyd, Matthew Floyd and wife Amber, Heather Floyd, Miranda Morgan and husband Trey, Joshua Rousseau and Trestan Rousseau; brothers, Billy Floyd Sr. and wife Charlotte, Charles Floyd and wife Tonya, Keith Floyd and wife Tammy and Daryl Floyd and wife Amy; 6 grandchildren, Landon, Hunter, Lindsi, Eli, Gage and Deakon; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Trestan Rousseau, Joshua Rousseau, Trey Morgan, David Ashley, Charles Floyd, Keith Floyd, Doug Wilkins and Jacob Roberson. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Floyd and Shannon Floyd.
