Obituary for Bobby Kelly
Services for Alan Robert “Bobby” Kelly will be at 2PM, Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Columbia, LA with Bro. Chris Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 10PM, Wednesday, July 8th and from 12PM until time of service at 2PM, Thursday, July 9th at the church. Interment will be at Old Bethel Cemetery, Columbia, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Alan Robert “Bobby” Kelly, 34, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at his home. He loved hunting, fishing, was an avid LSU and Saints fan, his gardens could feed the whole neighborhood, had a heart of Gold and would give the shirt off his back. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband and father who loved unconditionally.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Kelly; brother, Timothy Kelly; grandfathers, Jerry Perkins and Robert Kelly; and nephew, Landon Kelly.
Those left to cherish his memory include love of his life, Amanda; children, Jasmine, Anthony, and Gabriel; mother, Beckey Hatten (Rick); brothers, Kenneth Kelly (Tara) and M.R. Perot; sister, Rebecca Escalon (Bo); bonus dad, Mike Noland; nieces and nephews, Sara Kelly, Izzy Kelly, Emily “Chicken Butt” Escalon, Noah Escalon and Asher Escalon, Liam Perot and Josie Perot; grandmothers, Darlene Perkins and Shirley Stiles (Paul); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Belk, Tim Caraway, Clifton Bennett, Mike Noland, M.R. Perot, Butch Hatten and Timmy Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Kelly, Bo Escalon, Mitch Bratton and Jared Bennett.
