Obituary for Bob Cooper
Services for Bob Cooper will be at 2PM, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Summerville Baptist Church, Olla, LA with Bro. Jesse Henderson officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Wednesday, January 11th and from 12PM until time of service at 2PM, Thursday, January 12th at the church. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Jena, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Bob Cooper, 83, of Olla, LA passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Medical Center. Bob enjoyed driving a big truck and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Ashly Knight; brothers, Junior Cooper, Woody Cooper and Skeet Cooper; and sister, Virginia Carson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Delores Cooper; children, Doug Cooper of Jena, LA, Bob Jr. Cooper of Summerville, LA, Vickey Jackson of Jena, LA and Gwen Smith of Jena, LA; grandchildren, Becky Estis, Alisha Cooper, Larkin Jackson Jr., Josh Fogleman, Hunter Smith, BJ Smith, Kolby Murray and Mckynsli Montpelier; 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Todd Cooper, Randy Cooper, Dewayne Klienpeter, Jase Reeder, Andy Reeder and Mojo Estis. Honorary pallbearers will be Weldon Nugent, Johnny Nugent, Marty Cooper and Rusty Cooper.
