Visitation for Billy James LaPrairie Sr. will be from 2PM until 5PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Larto Apostolic Church, Larto, LA with Rev. Ronnie Wiley Sr. officiating under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Billy James LaPrairie Sr, 71, of Larto Lake, LA passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at his home. He lived for hunting, fishing, his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mike and Florine LaPrairie; brothers, Michael and Howard LaPrairie; sisters, Pamela Brown, Linda and Bertha Louise LaPrairie; and many beloved relatives.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Erica LaPrairie; two sisters, Kathy Sue LaPrairie and Sandra Garcia; brother, Butch Allen; children, David LaPrairie, BJ LaPrairie, Angela Roberts, Jeri Corley, Levi Trisler and Erin Pruitt; grandchildren, Ashley Mayhall, Briar and Eli LaPrairie, Walter James LaPrairie, Haiden Lee, Jayce and Charlei White and 2 expected in 2023.
Pallbearers will be Butch Allen, Levi Trisler, Austin Sanders, Kenny White, BJ LaPrairie and David LaPrairie. Honorary pallbearer will be Briar LaPrairie.
