Obituary for Bertha L. Dunnam
Services for Bertha L. Dunnam will be at 2PM, Monday, December 21, 2020 at Pine Coupee Pentecostal Church, Flatwoods, LA with Rev. Roland George and Rev. Kenneth Hyde officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service at 2PM, Monday, December 21st at the church. Interment will be at Flatwoods Cemetery, Flatwoods, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Bertha L. Dunnam, 88, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at her home. She was a prayer warrior with a love for Jesus and her church family. She was a member for 48 years. She is best remembered for her fasting and praying. Her favorite verse being Acts 2:38. Her joy in life was spending time with her grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 siblings; husband, Joe Dunnam; granddaughter, Shelly Dunnam; and brother and sister-n-laws.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, JW “Bud” Dunnam of Flatwoods, Theresa Bledsoe and husband Jeff of Flatwoods and Faye Walley of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren, Michael (Valerie), Alyssa, Virgil, Joshua, Michelle, Shella and Melissa; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Bledsoe, Wesley Brownlee, Bret Dunnam, Michael Setliff, Daryl Setliff, Randy Dunnam and Mikey Brownlee. Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Nolen, Ellis “Peanut” Dunnam, Virgil Dunnam and Joshua Dunnam.
