Graveside services for Bennie Owen Hastings will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Pineville, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until 10AM, Friday, January 21st at the funeral home.
Bennie Owen Hastings, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center. He was the owner of Burrco Machine Works for 32 years, which he sold in 2017.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Elton Hastings; mother, Mae Belle Fillette; brothers, Roy F. Hastings, Marvin Floyd Hastings and John E. Hastings.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Barbara Juneau Hastings; children, Joey Hastings of Pineville, Andy Hastings of Alexandria and Karen Hastings of Deville; 4 grandchildren, Bella R. Hastings, Stacey McCann (Clay), Ricky Martinez (Josh) and Dylan Miles; 2 great grandchildren, Jaxon and Cooper McCann.
